Current work for Beijing Future Art Festival interrogates environmental perception through large-format digital compositions, that, as with all my work begin with an "origin image"

The process of creating these large-format pieces (140cm+) at museum-quality resolution extends beyond mere technical specifications. Each file, almost becomes a meditation on scale and time - a digital landscape where every decision shapes the final work's presence.

The technical demands of this resolution serve the artistic intent. These pieces require patience: hours of careful consideration as each layer builds toward the final work, echoing the slow, deliberate practice of traditional landscape interpretation. I start by making small scale test prints in my studio at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel, then the full scale images will be made by XIMEIart based at M50 in Shanghai.
