Experience the Interplay of Light and Landscape in Berlin - June 2024 with Culture Focus

This June, Culture Focus invites you to explore the work of Caspar David Friedrich, a pioneer of Romanticism, whose 250th birth anniversary is celebrated at the Alte Nationalgalerie with the "Infinite Landscapes" exhibition. Friedrich's masterful use of light and his deep connection to nature have inspired generations of artists and photographers, making him a seminal figure in the evolution of visual storytelling.

"Infinite Landscapes" Exhibition Highlights:
Over 60 paintings and 50 drawings, showcasing Friedrich's iconic works.
Insight into Friedrich's technique and his pairs of paintings, illustrating different perspectives and the idea of change.
Date: 19 April - 4 August 2024

We are also pleased to have Bronisław (Bronek) Kozka, a tour leader and photographer, conduct a special workshop during the tour. His work, particularly in his "Mediated by the Digital Lens" series, explores the digital realm's interaction with the natural world, resonating with Friedrich's deep engagement with landscapes. This workshop is a great opportunity to explore contemporary photography techniques inspired by the beauty of nature.
Join us to connect the historical depth of Friedrich's work with the modern perspectives of photography.
