I am pleased to introduce the forthcoming exhibition entitled 'Mountain Water (shanshui): Walking the Annapurna Track'. This series explores the landscapes that define Nepal's Annapurna Track. Inspired by the mountains and driven by my desire to embrace the age-old principles of traditional Chinese 'shanshui' painting, this work strives to harmonise seamlessly those traditions with the contemporary medium of photography.

This exhibition seeks to illuminate the intricate interplay between nature's essence and the depths of human consciousness. By converging the nuanced legacy of artistic heritage with the innovative spirit of the modern era, the aim is to foster an elevated discourse on nature's enduring significance within the human experience.

It is with great pleasure that I announce that this new work will be showcased at the Pingyao International Photography Festival in September this year.
