I'm honoured to share that I've been appointed to the City of Melbourne's External Assessment Panel for Arts Grants, serving a four-year term through December 2028.
This role involves reviewing and assessing applications across multiple arts funding programmes including Multi-year Arts Grants, Annual Arts Grants and Residencies, Aboriginal Arts Grants, and Quick Response Arts Grants. As an external assessor, I'll contribute to ensuring transparent, equitable funding decisions that support Melbourne's vibrant arts community.
The appointment recognises expertise in arts practice, knowledge of the Melbourne and national arts scene, and understanding of government funding landscapes - areas I'm passionate about through my work as an artist, academic, and curator at RMIT University.
Looking forward to contributing to Melbourne's continued growth as a leading cultural city and supporting fellow artists and arts organisations in achieving their creative goals.
