A few years ago, I attempted to enter the Blake Prize, though without success. This year, I've chosen to try again. The Blake Prize is a renowned art competition in Australia, celebrating artworks that explore themes of spirituality, religion, and human justice. Art is not an end but a means to awaken, to inspire, and to kindle the flame of spirituality that I believe dwells within each of us. My art, therefore, is an offering, a bridge between the seen and the unseen, a journey into the essence of what it means to be truly connected—to ourselves & to nature. Excerpt from;
In the Stillness of Dusk, 'As daylight yields to the embrace of evening,
A dance of delicate hues retreats into the calm.
The sky, an artist's final strokes of pink and lilac,
Whispers of closure, of peace, as day recedes,
Leaving behind a silence profound and true.'
