Excited to announce that we are heading to the Pingyao International…
Excited to announce that we are heading to the Pingyao International PhotographyFestival to present Melbourne Focus, which for the China collaboration has been renamed to Collaboration in Focus. This exhibition has been co-curated by the talented Shane Hulbert and I, highlighting the cultural and creative exchange between Melbourne and Pingyao.
We’re privileged to have Dean Golja, Haydn Cattach, Emma Phillips, James James Morgan, and Cristina Mariani joining us in Pingyao for this incredible event. Their work, alongside many other talented artists, will showcase the diversity of Melbourne's photography scene. Additionally, we'll be presenting Panayiotis Kasseris "Between Lands: A Journey of Migration and Identity", curated by Bronisław (Bronek) Kozka, adding depth to this international showcase.

Another exhibition Parallel Narratives will also feature the creative work of RMIT Photography students from Australia and RMIT Vietnam, a first, curated by both Shane and I. Many of the photographers in this exhibit are proud alumni of RMIT’s BA Photography program, a testament to Melbourne’s vibrant artistic landscape.
Special thanks to Hannah Phemister, who has been instrumental as our assistant curator, and to all involved in this significant exhibition. This is not just a showcase of art but a celebration of Melbourne's spirit of collaboration, creativity, and connection.
