In reflecting on my engagement with Photosynth technology and its relation to my "Mountain Water" series, it's clear that my artistic intent has always been to deepen the dialogue between the artwork and its audience. Through Photosynth, I crafted digital environments that weren't merely to be viewed but experienced. This technology allowed me to construct narratives that viewers could navigate, turning passive observation into an active exploration. The act of moving through these digitally reconstructed spaces, of zooming in to uncover details that tell a hidden story, was an exercise in interaction that extended beyond the visual to engage the imagination and intellect.

In my "Mountain Water" series, while I transitioned away from the direct technological interactivity of Photosynth, the essence of viewer engagement remained paramount. This series, born from my trek along the Annapurna Track, captures not just the physical landscape but the emotional and spiritual journey that accompanied it. Here, I employed modern photographic techniques alongside the emotive depth of traditional "shanshui" painting to create a series that beckons the viewer to engage on a more introspective level. The images, with their rich layers and textures, invite a form of interaction that is contemplative, urging the viewer to not only see but feel the landscape.

This approach to my work, whether through the digital interactivity offered by Photosynth or the emotional resonance elicited by "Mountain Water," underscores my belief that art should be a conversation. It's about creating spaces—be they virtual or emotional—where the viewer becomes an integral part of the narrative. My aim has always been to foster a participatory engagement, to transform viewing into an act of exploration and discovery. Through the lens of my camera and the digital tools at my disposal, I strive to invite viewers into a shared space of narrative and experience, where each image, each frame, is a portal to a deeper understanding and connection.
