Making Art - Restoring Sight - 30km -30 images - 120 peoples vision could be restored

As some will realise this Friday, I will be walking 30km in the Melbourne Coastrek. I'm taking on this challenge to support The Fred Hollows Foundation to restore sight to the needlessly blind.

Many of you would also be aware that I have been working on an ongoing series of landscape images. This series has come about through my connection with nature (and technology) and most of the images were made while walking and hiking. I want to print this altogether.

I plan to make 30 new images (roughly 1 every km), for a donation of $100 you will receive a print from this series (30cm x 30cm, edition of 1) - you will also restore the sight of 4 people - an operation to restore someone's sight costs as little as $25 - that's incredible.

Simply click on the link below to view my fundraising page and make a donation, please also email so I know you are part of my 'Art for Sight' fundraising drive:

Your support will help The Fred Hollows Foundation continue the fight to end avoidable blindness and achieve Fred's dream to live in a world where no one is needlessly blind.

Thanks so much for your support.

P.S. Wish me luck for Friday!
