Masters of Photography

There have been some big changes at RMIT, especially in the photography area - and they are great changes.

Photography is now all in the one school, we will soon have a discipline head (of photography) - supporting and advocating for photography and 2017 also sees the launch of two new programs - Honours & Masters.

Our focus is still very much on the local, national and global photo industry, as the course has grown it has also broadened to encompass art practice and research. The staff profile has also grown and diversified - importantly all staff now have vibrant art/commercial practices - which inform the way they teach. We are also now able to bring more industry experts in as guests and collaborators.

My new role is running the Masters (Photography) area. I have spent the last week connecting with working photographers and alumni who are interested in taking this next career step. We have already had the 'official' launch and info session but I'm more than happy to discuss this with anyone who maybe be interested. I've attached some links.
